Recipe for: Lasagna
1 lb. hamburger
1 tsp. basil
1 tsp. salt
1 C tomatoes (diced Italian)
1 - 15 oz can tomato paste
1 C cottage cheese
1 beaten egg
1 Tbsp. parsley flakes
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/4 cup Parmesan (shredded or grated)
8 oz mozzarella cheese
5 oz (6 precooked) lasagna noodles
- In frying pan, brown hamburger and drain.
- Add all ingredients except lasagna noodles to browned hamburger and let simmer for 15 minutes. Make sure you put the egg in last and mix in right away so it doesn't cook up.
- In a 8x8x2.25 baking dish, layer ingredients:
- 2 noodles
- hamburger mix
- mozzarella cheese
- repeat 2 more times. You will have a full pan of lasagna to bake and eat!
Bake at 375 degrees covered for 30 minutes. Uncovered for 15 minutes.
